With the MPC Live II from Akai Professional, you get a fully equipped production hub that works entirely without a computer – completely standalone, with a battery, speakers, and an intuitive workflow. This mobile workstation was designed for musicians who want to work independently but don't want to compromise on functionality.

The integrated stereo speaker system ensures that you can start anywhere – whether in the park, on the train, or in the hotel room. Two tweeters and one woofer provide a balanced sound with clear highs and deep bass. And if you prefer to work in peace, you can simply turn off the speakers and use the headphone output. The bright 7-inch multitouch display makes operation easy to understand, while 16 velocity- and pressure-sensitive pads respond precisely to your playing.

Inside, a powerful multicore processor delivers the same power as the flagship MPC X. Thanks to the MPC3 software platform, you have access to a range of modern production features: including an innovative linear arranger, comprehensive automation, and access to Komplete Select from Native Instruments – all at no extra cost. Especially for beatmakers, the enhanced drum and keygroup engine is of interest, offering features like portamento, pitch envelopes, and new pad effects like bitcrush and decimator.

The connectivity options are impressively versatile: In addition to traditional inputs and outputs, you have four CV/gate outputs for modular synths. MIDI In/Out, USB-A and B, an SD card slot, and a slot for 2.5" SSDs provide maximum flexibility when working with external equipment or expanding your sample library. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also integrated – for wireless project uploads, sample downloads via Splice, or seamless Ableton Link connectivity.

With 16 GB of internal storage and the option to connect additional storage solutions via USB, SD, or SATA, you're well-equipped for large projects.
