Akai APC Key 25 MKII

The APC Key25 Mk2 marks the return of the 40-key, 5-inch by 8-inch grid, designed to mimic their respective placement in the DAW's grid. The RGB-backlit keys can be color-coded to more accurately represent clips on screen, and shine in vibrant colors for reliable readability in any performance.

The pads themselves have been enlarged for a smoother workflow. All scenes can be accessed at once via the right button column, with toggle buttons for click-free navigation. On the bottom are directional pads that let you easily move through the clip matrix.

The APC Key25 Mk2 has a cleaner interface for a smoother, uninterrupted workflow. All keys are now polygonal and have a clear relationship of spacing and shape to each other, drastically reducing visual clutter.

The 25-keys now feature Akais Gen 2 Dynamic Keybed, offering excellent response across their synthesizer-weighted keys.

To inspire you, Akai has bundled the APC Key25 Mk2 with a virtual instrument package from AIR Music Technology. Their award-winning sound design comes in the form of three plug-ins. Hybrid 3 is reminiscent of iconic analog synthesizers with polyphonic playback. Mini Grand delivers atmospheric acoustic pianos, while Velvet consists of vintage-sounding electric pianos.
